Nice scratched metal texture!
Much better now, it has the right kind of killing machine feel.

Ooh, yeah, love the new texture! It adds to the gritty feel of it, if you ask me

Adjustable machine gun, grenade launcher and flamethrower, plus many more deadly little tricks

Adjustable how? ooh me like deadly little tricks! xD Does it have acid?

Length of the barrel and tightness of the bore mainly, meaning it can be adjusted depending on what rate of fire, accuracy, distance of the shot etc. is necessary. So it could be a close range machine gun, or used just as effectively as a sniper rifle. A silencer can also be fitted, and even the cartridges aren't ejected and wasted, they're shredded and stored so it can also be used as a high power flechette gun

No acid, but plenty of hidden blades from knife to sword size, a full martial arts program, and CO2 powered pistons delivering extra power to jumps, kicks, punches, headbutts etc. Reflexes and movements twice as fast as any person, several different transport modes, and standing about 2 metres tall as shown in the picture, weighing around 800 kg

I have the whole thing designed

Niice. Wait, should I be afraid? O.O youre not selling this desing to the military are you? or are you creating it? T0T I'm scaareed! Several transport modes you say? Also hopping? That would be hilarious, a hopping war machine.

No, I wouldn't work with the military. This is for use against them
I don't think the legs are shaped for hopping (or skipping, now there's a funny image), but jumping, folding up and rolling, flying, swimming, it can do

Oy, oy. *wags finger* Poor military then. I must disagree with you, since the legs are bend when standing. So when it straightens them out it would shoot into the sky, and could that way hop around. Skipping is also a nice image. I might draw a skipping fighting machine one day when i get the time. Rolling? that is a very good idea. they should make tanks that can curl up and roll into their enemies

Well that's how it jumps, but hopping along on one foot would be impossible, the balance would be incredibly difficult to get right, and with that kind of weight coming down on the ground each hop it would get stuck every time
But rolling really would work, the kind of speed you could get on a single heavy wheel rolling without any weight on top would be immense

on one foot would be funny. A war-machine stuck in the ground on one leg xD I can allready imagine it trying to get out of the soil. Can it fly?

a flying killing machine! i wonder what kind of metal would be strong enough to keep it from falling apart...

One that hasn't been discovered yet
Possibly some kind of titanium-plastic compound, giving strength and flexibility (and the slightly plasticky look the machine has due to my not-very-good-at-metal colouring )

snowflake-gurl In reply to Maskmaker24 [2008-03-04 19:39:45 +0000 UTC]

Its not that bad! The compound is a good idea. You remind me of Da Vinci, designing all of these machines

I wish I was as good as Da Vinci

Who knows, maybe you will be! Then i can say that i know the new Da Vinci

Now there's something I can aim for! Lots of drawing, painting, making stuff and experimentation, writing backwards, and coming up with a ton of ideas without really accomplishing a lot. That's actually sounding more realistic every second

snowflake-gurl In reply to Maskmaker24 [2008-03-05 19:28:51 +0000 UTC]

But you do seem like the type. You could write Jasper K. backwards xD You'll be famous!

Maskmaker24 In reply to snowflake-gurl [2008-03-05 23:41:24 +0000 UTC]

Write it backwards and sell the book with a mirror so it can be read
But I don't want to be famous really, more like 'renowned' or 'acclaimed'

snowflake-gurl In reply to Maskmaker24 [2008-03-09 07:38:29 +0000 UTC]

lol, thats a good idea.
You can sell it from bookshops that sell special books. Then you will be acclaimed, but not exactly famous
