Connections:

- Both are the off-spring of very well-known fighters/huntress (I.E: Summer Rose and Hamato Yoshi/Lou Jitsu/Master Splinter)

- Both are cheerful, impulsive and carefree leaders who'll get a sense of doubt when put to their lowest points, but would find their footing when they are able to find themselves (I.E: Leo trying to be more responsible after Raphael was taken by the Krang and Ruby's mental state going down the drain after losing Penny)

- Both are a part of a 4 group team with distinct colors and personalities, along with being the ones who'll lead the team... [Though not always with Leo, as Raph originally led the team before the Rise Finale, with Leo taking the leader role in the Rise Movie] (I.E: Team RWBY and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

- Both obtain special abilities with the very weapons that they own (I.E: Mystic Powers and Semblance)

- Both had went up against an evil organization whose plan is to rule their worlds (I.E: The Foot Clan and the White Fang)

- While Summer Rose is confirmed to be dead in the RWBY series, in which it inspired Ruby originally to become a huntress, Leo originally thought that Splinter and Lou Jitsu were completely different people, basically.... Hamato is still alive

- While Leo became the leader at the end of the Rise series and during the Rise movie, Ruby Rose has always been the leader throughout her series, which causes a small bit of issues as time goes on
