yeah, like the story they were German anti-aircraft devices powered by spinning mercury so it defies gravity... weird

well, i saw where they talked about one of the german scientists created something called The Bell which was supposed to be a time machine as ell as some kind of space craft... and the drawings of it look very similar to the descriptions of the UFO that is said to have crashed in Kecksburg PA in the early 60's... like it traveled through time. (I know about this because I live about 20 miles from Kecksburg)

ah yes, they sometimes refer to the Kecksburg Incident as Pennsylvania's Roswell. I think it was like 1965, and this acron shaped thing fell into some woods near the town. Bunch of people went to see what it was, saw this weird sort of acron shaped object, with odd writing around the botton lying in the woods and trees broken off showing where it had come down through the woods.
Then the State Police and Army showed up, cordoned off the area, and some residents said they later saw a big army flat bed truck hauling something away under a tarp, that was the right size and shape to be the thing.
Later, the army and police both denied ever having even been there, and some residents of the town said that was true, nothing had crashed at all and nothing had happened and it was all just a story or a hoax... while other swear they saw the thing and saw it come down and saw it hauled away... there are families there that members of the family won't even talk to each other because one of them is a believer and the other says its a hoax. after all this time!
But one interesting note, one of the local newspaper men was going to do a story about it, and was visited by mysterious men in suits who took him in an office and talked to him, and the next day he stopped the story, sai that some of the witnesses had asked not to hae it printed and never told anyone what really happened. When people asked, he stuck to that story, that he pulled it because the witnesses had asked, but his secretary will vouch for the story about the men in suits taking into a private talk, and that when he came out of that talk, he was white as a sheet like he was scared to death, and then immediately pulled the story... and after his death, his wife said that he would never have pulled that story for the reason he had given, and that he had never been the same after that and had never even told her the truth about what had happened.
Its all very odd... but I feel that something did crash in that town... some of the people even paid to make a full scale model and its mounted on a high pole in a spot near the center of town with a plaque of some kind relating the story... I'll have to try to find a picture of it...

yes, that is a large problem it seems in all the UFO stories... I guess until one lands on the White House lawn we'll just have to keep guessing
