Seems like you're having real fun with this scene and are finding nice point of views
The shadow is indeed very nice and gives a great composition.
All in all this looks like a pretty realistic image!
Only real give-away are the hard shadows. I'd re-render it with soft shadows and then the play of lighting/shadow on the path will look even more realistic

This is a really peaceful scene, but I think some wispy clouds would make it look better.
