Alright, it's high time I educated you uncultured heathens with a blast from the past!

How many of you have heard of or even read the Bone graphic novel/comic series by Jeff Smith?

Growing up, I used to love these books as a kid. Admittedly, I didn't delve to much into the series beyond the first few books back in the day, but the simplistic artstyle of the main characters and writing structure have had a profound influence on me to this day, and up until my my late tweens I based much of my personal artstyle on this series (I used to draw the eyes as simple lines)!

Even back when I was in elementary school in 2005, I won a gift card to Borders Group bookstore (sadly, they no longer exist as of today), where I was able to buy one book of my choice. I chose Bone Volume #1: Out from Boneville because it stood out to me the most, and because of my general love for cartoons and comic books. Never regretted my decision since! The characters, humor, vibrant colors, and action all had me hooked!

I have the Bone comics to thank for contributing into making me the person that I am today! So have some fanart of the 3 main characters, the rich n' greedy Phoney Bone, the smart yet naked Fone Bone, and the cheery smokaholic Smiley Bone! Enjoy!
