Min has a very good knack to give the wrong message through his music. On stage, as expected, he acts very outwardly and energetic, vocal and etc; the whole idol suitcase. In reality though, Min is actually rather shy, and repressed. The little guy has a hard time tangling himself into conversations, and often feels uncomfortable having to force himself into such situations. Even getting ready to perform is an ordeal. He's more of a wall-flower, looking down at his phone like he's busy but he's merely staring at the screen type of guy. ► BACKGROUND
From the very beginning it was obvious that Min had some talent. What was just a nervous tick of constantly tapping his pencil in school, morphing into a beat to sooth his nerves, became less of a habit and instead his source to create music of his own. Min was, and has always been, a quiet child who had no intention on banding with others but his ability to create a beat on the fly or spit some rhymes whether silly and tamed had brought a small crowd of popularity throughout his grade school years.

To be quite frank that's all he was good at.

Academically Min struggled heavily for some odd reason. He wasn't terrible so to say when it came to rehearsing knowledge taught to him, but he certainly wasn't top in his class or even above average. Due to harsh scolding from his parents about grades and his self-loathing for not being able to appease them, Min gradually deteriorated from simply not doing his work, to full on believing school was just a pointless test he couldn't pass. Since neither his mother or father would dare let him drop out so easily, all he could do was strive for "sufficiency" and move on to the next grade. His father wasn't around to see his son's potential, as he had divorced Min's mother at quite a young age... but his mother was there, when he sung and rapped at his middle school's talent show a song he wrote called 내 잘못, or "My fault". The beat was exciting and bouncy and had all the parents moving in their seats to the tune. The lyrics were too vague for any of them to understand what's the feeling for this boy's song, but the crowd was swoon by this 13-year-old's ability to beatbox while he played an instrument, and ramble words at such a fast pace. His mother, too, was surprised discovering how in-depth her son was with making music. From then on, she was so much of his supporter that she hastily pushed him towards art & music summer camps, then towards freelance performances, and now - after putting lots of work of recording her son and putting it on the internet (with Min's knowledge of course) - Geomi caught a glimpse of the little guy doing his thing.

Min nowadays looks forward to debuting as a solo artist. The thought of it the minute Geomi laid eyes on him sparkled and tickled his fancy. The poor thing, though, has an immense doubt that such a thing is even in his reach, but he still studies other stars who debuted so much earlier than he has and takes notes, continues to compose songs and continues to rap out this burden he continues to feel in a whimsical, but vague manner. Maybe one day he'll truly make his parents proud by becoming an idol.
