unnecessary edit: why can i not stop LOOKING at this picture? is it because random ships have appeared that are lurking on the horizon? is it because i really wanna write some FF (may or may not pertain to this in particular)? is it maybe cuz im actually proud of something? i dont know, but this is just...woah! its been a long time since i was this happy with anything that i made.

good lord, can i go on drawing tangents like nobody's business.
i was supposed to be working on my character for school, but instead, i got sidetracked trying to try a new style of painting on this image...but got carried away and didnt even implement what i was testing out!

anyways, this sketch was originally found in this sheet of mostly car drawings and homestuck fanart .

i spent about 4 hours alone playing with the lineart it aint even funny anymore I:
then so many playing with colouring strategies that i didnt even use...about one total hour playing with gradients that i ended up canning...and then about a half hour playing with textures before i settled on one that i had chosen first so i could have stopped at the beginning, but noooooooo. i had to play with them for too long, resulting in no sleep at all for me last night.
what a dumbass. i should win a prize for dumbassery.
just. whatever.

also: it has come to my attention that people think this is a ship. you can believe whatever you want to, i wont be that cannonball, but my original intent wasnt that.

i will let your minds wander to wherever you want them to. have fun my little HS ships on the ocean of crack : D
