I definitely agree on the Joker comparison, but I also think that Inque and Terry are more alike than they seem. They both had it rough growing up and ultimately turned to being creatures of shadow, but Terry sought justice whereas Inque only sought self-gain.
Either way, their fights always seem the most personal to each other. I just hope the comic series gets to do more with Inque than the show did.

Interesting that you point out their pasts, I never really took that into account. That could be another similarity between Bruce and the Joker, depending on which on his origins you believe. I need to get back on board the Beyond comic, I didn't have the money so I was only buying Batgirl for the last couple of months.

Well, I was going by what little Inque mentioned of her past in "Inqueling". As much as I would love to see her full story explained, it may be like Joker himself in that Inque's past will never be fully revealed.
So far, though, the comic seems more interested in "Beyondizing" the regular Bat-Villains (like Catwoman and Hush) instead of expanding on the ones the show introduced. I sincerely hope this doesn't become the series standard.

I think it has more to do with comic creators all wanting to work on the Batman comic at some point. It seems like the guy writing Beyond figured he could adapt his ideas for a Batman arc into Beyond without taking into account the fact that Bruce (as awesome as he is when he's old) really takes a back seat to Terry in the series.
