A drawing I made for a contest, I know there's not such a care for details and if you zoom in the drawing you can see some horrible mistakes xDSorry if somebody will be scared by spiders and bad detailed drawings, but somebody told me that it's nice and I should publish it, so here I am xD

It's both awesome and annoying how basic this illustration is done because you know a top tier artist when even their lacklustre work is divine.

This work in particular was just a concept for a mask without any claim to be an amazing illustration;
but I must agree with you for one point: so many artist who mastered some drawing skills do just simple portraits of characters or other stuff without any immagination, but the work is so tecnically impressive that it appear amazing and inspiring to see even if there's almost no artisic immagination in it.Β
But I've to say that this kind of works are so rewarding in many comunities, so it comes natural to cover this path even because you need less work on the composition of the illustration and apply your skills.

It was inspired by the Tarantula, a kind of hairy spider. And even if the tecnique of drawing hair is not perfect I'm glad you appreciate the look ^^
