Kirby doesn't use the pikmin exactly. As soon as they are out of the ground, he throws them and if they miss, they die and turn in to ghosts.

What I'm wondering is how Kirby is going to be able
to use Pikmin if he can only pluck them from the ground.

if he can only pick them, then he'd only b useful if him and olimar were on a team and it had friendly fire so kirby could give olimar the pikmin he needs, also nice quote there, i somehow have memorized that entire song *crys* but more importantly where b sonic kirby?
