the navy version usually has the different handguard, but the main feature of the navy version is the trigger group, which features a burst mode, and a threaded barrel for a suppressor to be added

The Navy trigger group is only safe-semi-auto. H&K gave the MP5A4-A5 a burst fire option, but not the A2-A3 that i assume the navy modeled was based on. The threaded barrel has always been on the MP5.

Also, the hand-guard w/flashlight could be used with any MP5, not just the navy variant.
