wow! blast from the past 
the entire image was done using paint shop pro, the water effect was created using a plug-in by flaming pear called flood. great filter, i highly recommend it, can be used with paint shop or photoshop

mmm really interesting..
love that liquid bronze/gold colour.. it looks really metallic.. melted down... very sleek and elegant... love the idea of the hand and fingers as rays... and i think its interesting how its incomplete and only 4 fingers.. mmm and the choice of fingers is good too! the lines on the palm.. mmm add to the weathered look and its a good contrast.. assuming its a sunset.. mmm.. symbollic
