Yes, there were no females serving regularly in the ranks during the Civil War ( It's more or less a joke... there were a few women who did, but they had to put on extensive disguises for that to work.) However, these uniforms are quite accurate as too what Confederate's would've worn during the Mobile Campaign, in the closing days of the Civil War. The 21st Alabama were stationed in forts, Gaines and Morgan; with a fair number escaping to fight in the battle of Spanish Fort. Most of the defenses were "Too little, too late" so to speak... the Union had a vast superiority in numbers, and it was just a matter of time till they had control of the port city.

Still thinking about producing more pieces like this... we'll see.
