What's more amazing, my ability at coming up with inventive, amazing and never-heard-before names for my latest deviations, or the fact that I've done 3 Vlad/Danny fanarts so far, and they're growing more father/son moments than actual pairing stuff like they should actually be?... let's not answer that.
I promise an actual pairing drawing next time. For now, behold, another pic that should have been a cute, fluffy pairing one and ended up... this.

the hands were hard and i almost gave up on them, but i'm glad you think they came out well. hands are probably the thing i hate the most that i have to draw.
like someone on tumblr once said, your hands are jealous of you drawing other hands so they mess up on purpose...

Actually, they're probably more like uncle/nephew (Vlad's like Danny's creepy, insane uncle.) Danny already has a father and it's like, "that's Uncle Vlad, he's a creepy, crazed up frootloop but he's familyΒ and I love him anyway."

I love how so many of the fans put more thought into character development and all than the show itself, particularly in the later seasons. The pairing they ended up with was chemistry-less and painfully cliche`.

i thought that too, you see. the series has to appeal a lot of young people, so they can't really put all that depth into it as fans would like (otherwise it would need to become dragonball-long, and that's too much for that series... three short seasons and it ended up in shit already). thankfully fans make it all better.
and yes, the pairing they ended up with was bland, uninteresting and relationship wise, boring and overestimated. they are good friends, but they would not work that well as a couple... *shrugs*
