Karkat wants to watch a movie, but Dave grows bored of it quickly, so he just lounges on the sofa while Karkat gets absorbed into the movie.It happens most of the time Karkat chooses the movie (if Dave chooses, Kar spends all the time insulting the actors' poor acting, their quadrants, they attitude, etc), honestly.
Of course you can say that if Karkat ever decides to look up from the movie and onto the sofa, his intentions will promptly turn NC18.
