So this is what I've been working on the past few days. After many hours of work, I'm proud to reveal the first ever sprites of the famous WEAPONs from the Final Fantasy VII series! The WEAPONs are huge monsters that are released at certain times. For example, Diamond, Ultimate, Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby are released by Sephiroth from North Crater. Omega Weapon is released when the Planet thinks it is dying and Jade Weapon is supposedly released to fight the Turks. Here's a list of them:Omega Weapon (Purple, FFVII Dirge of Cerberus)
Diamond Weapon (Silver, Final Fantasy VII)
Ultimate Weapon (Dark Grey, Final Fantasy VII)
Sapphire Weapon (Blue, Final Fantasy VII)
Jade Weapon (Teal, FFVII Before Crisis)
Emerald Weapon (Green, Final Fantasy VII)
Ruby Weapon (Red, Final Fantasy VII)
It's funny 'cause my brother, just beat Emerald Weapon as I was writing this.

If they ever re-make FFVII, I'd love it if they make it so you can fight all the weapons. I know it would break the story a little asΒ SapphireΒ dies during the story and Omega and Jade appear outside of VII, but it's the kind of extra I feel the re-make needs toΒ warrantΒ a re-make in my eyes.

I apologize, I'm wrong I did a little research.. it seems there might be a sapphire weapon, although nothings really touched on him in FFVII... but there are two water weapons, which kinda makes no sense but anyways, it's still a great game. lol

Even though Chaos is actually a weapon, he doesnt have a true form. the one in original 7 was just a demon, and in dirge he mostly just used vincents body with warped clothes.

^_^ your Emerald sprite beats all! As for information, Chaos was an actual WEAPON but its purpose was only to feed Omega and one other WEAPON exist but was unnamed and left as an Easter egg only in FF7:CC. Sephiroth didn't release the WEAPONS per say, but rather the events caused by JENOVA and the places that were sucking energy from the planet such as Midgar. You should make a Junon Cannon and a headless Sapphire Weapon sprite ^_^
