Description
Drew this a long time ago for an art challenge that I never did in which I drew anthro robots every single day, reminiscent of my Robot Pokemon Challenge from 2016, but never finished the challenge due to a number of factors, so I instead decided to post the ones I drew and make them into characters.

I named this character after a friend's character who is sadly no longer active on DeviantART. This character is a tribute to him.

EDIT: Just so you know, Jade is NOT a Sonic OC, not every hedgehog is a Sonic character. I just want to make this clear for people in the future.

Jade is a robotic hedgehog who functions as a medic for Arcanis Labs, even though most of the employees are Anthroids like her, but she uses her functions to assist with medical help for organic lifeforms like humans and anthros.

Jade is a rather playful and mischevious, always looking forward to going to new places and meet new people. Some of the other anthroids find her too childish and annoying, even though she's rather open to new people and likes being around others. Though at the same time, she can easily get depressed or angered, and knows if someone's a bad person or untrustworthy. When provoked, she will shoot laser quills from the emitters on her arms, which can also be used for medical purposes such as accupuncture.

Like any hedgehog, she has pointed quills on her back which as a robot, are synthetic. She can also curl up into a ball for self-defense, in which she grows armored plates to encase her and sharp spikes to attack. As with most other Anthroids, her nose gets wet like a normal animal nose as part of her cooling system, and her mouth lights up and glows to talk. She can be quite chatty and is very friendly.
