Well, she's done, kinda. Went a little nuts with colored lines, might look tacky I can't really tell.I intended to sharpen up some details in the background, to give it more depth, but then I accidentally saved over the .psd with the flattened, shrunk version of the image, so it'd take a bit more work than I'm feeling up for at the moment. I might get around to it later. HAHAHAHAH! Oh man I slay myself sometimes.
Oh, and for the love of Zebes, FULL VIEW! As someone around here said, this bitch is HUGE.

I mostly like such pictures more in the real-like, natural way, but this comik picture of Samus is really well done! And still with comik style, here she looks much better than she really does in the game without her helmet, or even in drawn form by Nintendo itself for example for the GBA games. Really lovely picture! Nice face she has ^^

Extremly nice picture, but I'd just like to point out..that... err.. her head is way too big. Samus's head doesn't reach up above her shoulder guards, and that's while wearing the helmet.
Simply put, her armour suit is a lot larger than she is, being roughly a fifth taller (this is based on proportion calculation done by a friend of mine and I, based on screenshots from Metroid Prime)

Yeah, you're right, I was more on the liberal side in terms of sticking with her design. You'll notice that I more or less redesigned her chest armor thing, and her shoes are just silly.

Not bad at all. Rather inspiring actually. Makes me wanna take a shot at draing Samus with her helmet off.. ohh.. maybe in Brinstar.. That place is so neat looking.. wow.. you really did a great job on the lighting and shading here particularly.. I have a freind who really likes Samus Aran that would like this ALOT..
