Yes, I decided plain that white backgrounds were a little boring. I decided on not using photo manipulation in order to get a more accurate bokeh, or camera blur.

Very nice indeed. The out of focus figure in the background gives the impression of actual photography (a deliberately chosen short depth of field etc)
