She couldn't believe it. Just as Sandra was starting to think the molecular ray had worked! Before she knew it she was the size of a doll again.How would she get to the device now?
Well, the first step would to be getting down from the sofa.

This is just wonderful! Β It's so rare to see such a great shrinking animation! Β Before looking at the video description, I couldn't even tell that any of the elements were 3D models, I figured it was just two video files composited together. Β So kudos on the realistic scene!

This is what I love about rendering over traditional chroma keyed video. It leads to a fantastic sense of both depth and shadow, factors which trick the viewer into seeing a realistic scene.
This is also why I'm so fascinated with the future of 3D scanning. As time goes on it will be easier and easier to replicate more realistic objects for either tinies or giants to interact with in animation.
