Replaying "Tales of Monkey Island" seeing that it's now FINALLY for the Mac (+ Earl Boen!! FTW!!) ...Plus this little story was running in my head for a while. Please excuse any failed grammer, for I'm really tired and wanted to write it down before I forgot.

By the way? HUGE amount of spoilers!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

"Oh you're gonna get it for that" Guybrush laughed as he proceeded to grab Elaine, who couldn't help but laugh as well as his beard began to tickle her face as they sailed off into the sunset, steered by Guybrush's first mate, Mr. Winslow. It didn't take long until Guybrush and Elaine wore themselves out and opted to just sit on the deck of the Screaming Narwhal and watch the sun set into the purple-orange sky. "Yawn! Well...I'm sure as heck beat." Guybrush began, with an exhausted tone in his voice; Elaine took a glance at Guybrush, staring out into the open sea, with a look in his eyes knowing that he is finally free from the Voodoo Lady and Lechuck. It could not be helped that he was tired, and who could blame him? What started as a simple "Finally get rid of Lechuck Once and For All" mission exploded into a quest of wild proportions. "Why don't you go and rest Love?" Elaine chimed in, Guybrush glanced at her, showing the bags under his eyes. "I don't know...I'm not all that-- " his sentence was cut off by his own yawn "Sleep Guybrush, here, you can rest on my lap." Elaine offered, patting her lap. Guybrush looked down at her lap, then back at her and simply shrugged and laid his head on her lap. With the gentle breeze and rocking of the calm sea, Guybrush drifted into sleep, but instead of looking out in to the sea, or at the sky, Elaine looked a Guybrush's slumbering face. Although it was Guybrush who messed up the Cursed Cutlass of Kaflu which caused not only a human Lechuck, but a pox infection to spread across the sea, Guybrush went out of his way to stop the pox by finding the mystical sponge to soak up all the bad voodoo. Elaine took off the dreadful crown and gloves and started to stroke Guybrush's face. He faced against a mad scientist who wanted his hand, a renowned pirate hunter hired by said scientist (but later redeemed herself), and even a Pirate God who not only killed Guybrush by stabbing him through with the original Cutlass of Kaflu, and later proceeded to literally punching the life out of Guybrush. And all Guybrush was doing was luring Lechuck into the Crossroads and put a stop to him once and for all. An adventure like that could really take their toll on someone, especially Guybrush. She smiled as she continued to stroke his golden locks, watching his chest move up and down to rhythm of his breaths. She kissed his forehead and whispered in his ear "You deserve it."
