The water here is really effective. I admire the strive for painterly effect. Have you considered some different brushes? There are a lot of good ones out there. (That's my opinion though.)

yea i know what u mean.
only problem is that i'm using a program called illustStudio. It looks and works just like photoshop except they dont give a whole lot of flexibility with brushes like is photoshop.
I've been using this lately because the file size of the program is only like 200MB and the painting size is like over 8000px at 300dpi. And lonly uses like 50,000k unlike photoshop which jumps to 1.8Gb of ram for a doc that size.
It allows you to export psds with layers and everyting at a under 30mb file size.
