[The scene cuts to the Mountain Pass and everyone runs out]

KION: Thanks for coming to get us, Jasiri.

JASIRI: You saved my family and home more than once. Just returning the favor.

AZAAD: Fuli, I understand that you have friends, but having hyenas for friends?

JANJA: Woah! [Janja scratches himself] (Grunting)

AZAAD: That seems unlikely.

FULI: It's a long story, but they've earned our trust.

KION: Ono? Still remember all of the moja kwa moja stones on Rafiki's map?

ONO: Indeed. [Ono's eyes flash and he looks at the map] The first landmark back to the Pride Lands is a giant lake.

BUNGA: Ooh, I remember that.

ANGA: Me too. [Anga's vision zooms in on the lake] Got it! The lake is this way.

KION: We'll need to move fast. It'll take us a long time to go around that lake.

FULI: And even longer to get back to the Pride Lands.

AZAAD: It is a shame that your friends are not cheetahs. We could go this way. It would be much faster.

KION: Wait, you know a faster way to get to the Pride Lands?

AZAAD: But of course. I have travelled much, and know the fastest routes to all the Great Lands.

JASIRI: Speaking of travels… (turns to Kopa and looks straight at him) Prince Kopa. (Kopa looks at Jasiri) There’s something I don’t understand. You've been alive all this time and if it’s true that you are Kiara and Kion’s big brother, why didn't vou come back to Pride Rock when we needed you? I needed you.

JANJA (to Kion): And, Kion, why didn’t you tell us before that you have a big brother named Kopa?

Before Kopa can answer, Imara speaks up.

IMARA (with a look that shows she feels bad for not letting Kopa’s existence be completely known but having a good reason): It's because it was the only way that me and my friends here could protect Kopa from Zira's clutches.

Kiara, Jasiri, and Kiara look at Imara in shock.

IMANI: We had to keep Kopa’s existence, survival, and location a secret.

TAZAMA: We came to believe that if word of Kopa’s existence got out, then Zira would want to target him again.

SHABAHA: Like the same way she did when we and Kopa were Cubs.

KASI: Where Zira attacked Kopa and gave him up for dead.

Kiara, Jasiri, and Janja are very shocked at what Imara, Imani, Tazama, Shabaha, and Kasi just revealed.

JANJA: What?

JASIRI: Zira?

KIARA: No.

JANJA: So your absence because of Zira's attack on your life is why Kion has been known as the second born of Simba and Nala as well as their only son.

JASIRI: And why Kiara is being groomed as the future Queen of the Pride Lands.

KIARA: Is that why Father has been very strict with me? Why he told me to stay away from the Outlands?

KOPA: Yes, guys. (With Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, Imani, Koman, Sanura, Imani's followers and their families around him by his side) And I know this can be a bit of a shock and hard to believe, but to make the matter bigger, Zira was also why Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, their parents, and Imani and her followers rebelled against her and defected. Zira's attack on my life left them with disgust and pure anger over Zira's deception over the subiect of Scar's death and her extreme ways of how far she is willing to go to achieve revenge for Scar including sacrificing the lives of any of her family members and her own kind.

IMANI: That was the final straw for me as I realized there that the best friend I had in Zira would never be coming back.

JASIRI: So, why is she a problem for you too? You and Zira grew up together.

JANJA: So, what could she have done?

KIARA: It’s what I’m thinking as well.

IMANI: Zira was the one who came to believe that Scar should be King. And then with manipulation, when he took over the Pride Lands and turned it into a wasteland, Scar corrupted Zira to his side and did the unthinkable.

RISALA (one of Imani's followers): Scar damaged Zira beyond repair and recognition.

MALA: Then when Scar was devoured by Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and their Hyena clan for selling them out out of fear for his own life, Zira became insane and did the unthinkable.

RISALA: She falsely accused King Simba for the death of Scar.

JANJA: But, why would she do that?

TAZAMA: Zira has always been so completely devoted to Scar so much that she is willing to falsely accuse King Simba for the death of Scar even if she knows but ignores that it was Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and their Hyena clan who were responsible for his death.

IMANI: Because l've really hated Scar and for him destroying my relations with Zira as her best friend, I found my place in the Circle of Life as the caretaker of any of the Outsiders with families.

MALA: Then when Zira had the nerve to attack Kopa and give him up for dead, she didn't realize until it was too late that it has become one of the if not the worst decision she will have ever made, because it didn't go unnoticed by us.

TAZAMA: The horrors of that incident was enough to convince us of Zira's deception over the subject of Scar's death and her extreme ways of how far she is willing to go to achieve revenge for Scar.

IMANI: And that was when we made the decision that would change our lives forever.

IMARA: We rebelled against her.

RISALA: The battle came at the cost of Zira's Pride splitting in two.

KASI: With aid from the iniuries that Imani and her followers afflicted on Zira, Shabaha, Tazama, Imara, and I combined our Lion Guard abilities amongst each other and used them to lock Zira into a coma. But it wouldn't last long.

SHABAHA: Before our departure, I left behind that clue for the Royal Family to pick up so they would know about Kopa's survival but that he has to be kept somewhere out of Zira's reach so he can avoid being targeted by Zira again while he's still a Cub and so that any of their future children can know about his existence.

Kiara, Jasiri, and Janja are very shocked at Shabaha revealing herself as the one who left behind that clue for them.

TAZAMA: With help from Azaad, we fled here to the Tree of Life to protect Kopa and prepare him for his and Zira's respective returns.

IMANI: And so I can I raise my family out of Zira's reach.

KIARA: It all makes sense.

JASIRI: We had fallen for her lies.

JANJA: As did I.

KIARA: Even Nuka. He always spoke of Scar not being Kovu's father.

JANJA: Nuka had no interest other than wanting to gain Zira's attention, affection, approval, and support. You would have been easy to fool.

JASIRI: After the events of the Lions of the Outlands, Zira must have found herself in a termite mound area very similar to the one she lived in before she temporarily took control of Jasiri's home.

KIARA: And why did you all risk vour lives to save my big brother Kopa and get him all the way here to the Tree of Life for healing and sanctuary?

TAZAMA: Because Kopa is the only one that Shabaha, Kasi, Imara, and I have as a brother.

IMARA: We were also doing it for our best friend Vitani. She really cherishes him and has really missed him very much.

IMANI: And because Kopa is the onlv I have as a son.

KOPA: I've been willing to give Shabaha, Tazama, Kasi, Imara, their parents, and Imani and her family and followers and their families a second chance. They wish an end to Zira's journey on the Circle of Life as much as we do.

Kiara, Jasiri, and Janja are very shocked at everything that was just explained. And then they form smiles on their faces.

JASIRI: Well, if you trust them, Prince Kopa, then that’s good enough for me.

AZAAD: Such little time remains. Zira will soon return and bring her vengeance on the Pride Lands.

KION: Before we decide anything, I want to take a look and see. Azaad, show us the way.

AZAAD: Follow me. [The scene cuts to a canyon] The fastest way is through this canyon.

BESHTE: Oh! Tat is a narrow path.

BUNGA: [Bunga looks at Beshte] Hmm. Hmm. Yeah, I don't think you're gonna fit through there, Big B.

FULI: Is this the only way, Azaad?

AZAAD: It is the fastest way. The way of the cheetah!

BESHTE: Not the way of the hippo. Sorry.

JANJA: So, guess we go back and take the slower way?

KION: No. If this is the fastest way, then this is the way we're going. Get behind me.

JANJA: (Laughs) I know what that means!

[Everyone but Azaad gets behind Kion]

AZAAD: But you can not all fit. How...

BUNGA: Just wait. It's Un-Bunga-liveable!

[Bunga moves Azaad behind Kion]

KION: (Roaring)

[Kion uses the Roar of the Elders to blast a hole in the canyon]

BUNGA: (Laughs) Gotta love the Roar.

AZAAD: Very well. The fast way it is.

(And so off they all go while the journey to the Pride Lands goes as originally except for a change when they reach the Great Stone Wall and when they reach the borders to the Outlands)
