What if Vitani reunites with Kopa at the Tree of Life
(Sometime before “The Lion Guard: The Tree of Life”)
(Kopa returns from patrol to find Vitani waiting for him and they reunite)

Kopa has been at the Tree of Life ever since at some point during his juvenile years after Zira had attacked him in cold blood and given him up for dead. Azaad has brought him there so he can get healing and sanctuary while he personally wants to be as far away from Zira as possible. And then after that, Kopa is able to calm down about Zira and accepts life with the Night Pride (meaning that he joins the Night Pride). And now, Kopa is a teenager, and despite getting physically healed, he has not fully healed mentally, because he at certain points of time gets occasionally depressed about not seeing Vitani every day. But that is about to change.

One day, Kopa returns from patrol duty to take a break at the lake nearest to the Tree of Life (the same one shown in “The Lion Guard: Journey to the Pride Lands”). But just as he gets settled into his break, Kopa is suddenly caught off guard by a very big surprise that he has not expected. Kopa finds none other than Vitani waiting for him. Kopa is astonished 😦😧 beyond belief that the love of his life from since he was a juvenile Cub is right there before his eyes.

KOPA (shocked beyond belief): Vitani…

VITANI (recognition and shocked beyond belief as well as her heart is beating rapidly although not too fast): Kopa…?

Kopa and Vitani approach each other at a pace where they are making sure that it’s no dream. But then when they each press one of their respective front paws against the other (the move Kopa recognizes from since he and Vitani were Cubs), Kopa and Vitani suddenly realize that it’s no dream at all since Kopa is already a teenager.

KOPA (overcome with emotion with tears beginning to roll down his face and holding out his untouched foreleg in a come here like gesture while being able to tell what Vitani is thinking and trying to say): Come here, Vitani.

Without wasting a second, Vitani jumps on Kopa and they share a very big tight loving hug.

KOPA (as tears roll down his cheeks and onto Vitani’s neck and back): I’ve really missed you, Vitani.

VITANI: I’ve really missed you too, Kopa. I can’t believe I got you back.

Kopa and Vitani stay like that for a few more minutes.

KOPA (when he and Vitani break apart and with joy): Come on, Vitani. There is so much I really gotta show you.

And off Kopa and Vitani go where Kopa takes Vitani on a tour of the Tree of Life.
