(The Lion Guard: Rescue in the Outlands)
(Kion hangs out with Jasiri, Wema, and Tunu before they get kidnapped by Janja and thrown into a vent only for the tide to turn and they with the rest of the Lion Guard and Thurston fight off Janja and his Hyena clan)

[The Lion Guard and Mbeya arrive at a watering hole]

(Flies buzzing)

(Buzzing)

MBEYA: Can't the Lion Guard do something to get rid of these flies?

FULI: (Scoffs) I wish.

BESHTE: Me, too. It'd be great if we could just shout, "Flies, go away!" And...

[The flies go away]

BUNGA: Un-bunga-lievable! Big B, how'd you do that?

[The zebras show up]

THURSTON: Excuse me. Where are we zebras supposed to drink? Someone filled the river with buffalo.

ONO: Of course! The flies didn't leave because Beshte told them to, they've left because the zebras showed up! That's why they left down by the river, too!

FULI: You mean the flies don't like zebras?

ONO: They don't like the zebra's stripes. Common knowledge, really, though, nobody knows why.

KION: So, if we stick with the zebras, we won't have to deal with the flies? We'll take you to the nearest watering hole. Mbeya, too. Come on!

THURSTON: A Lion Guard escort? Well, I suppose it's only fitting.

[A gopher appears out of the ground next to Kion]

GOPHER: Hey, uh, Kion?

KION: Yes?

GOPHER: Sorry, I don’t mean to interrupt. But, *whispering* your friend Jasiri sent me, and she wants to see you.

KION: (relieved) Finally. I hadn’t seen her in a while.

[Kion goes off to hang out with Jasiri while the Lion Guard and Simba, Nala, Madoa, Wema, Tunu, and Jasiri and Madoa’s Hyena clan are the select few who know about Kion and Jasiri being together, because they know that if it gets out into public hearing, it would make a pretty big scene.]

[Back in the Outlands, Jasiri and Kion are hanging out as they sneak up on Tunu and Wema from behind a rock in a game of hide and seek.]

[Kion and Jasiri pounce on Tunu and Wema, and they continue to laugh happily.]

(Hyena cubs laughing)

(Laughing)

WEMA & TUNU: (Gasps) (Both laughing)

WEMA: You found us!

JASIRI: I did. And now we can all look for Madoa. You ready? Is she here? Let's see...

KION: (playfully) Ooo, she’s got to be around here somewhere.

ALL: Ha!

JASIRI: Oh, well. Guess we gotta keep looking.

KION: Yeah. She is just around here.

TUNU: We're gonna find you, Madoa!

[Madoa is hiding while Janja's clan spies on Jasiri's clan and Kion.]

JANJA: Aw, ain't that cute. Jasiri's playin' with cubs and Kion. Let's get 'em all Jasiri!

JASIRI: Back so soon, Janja? I already told you, this is my turf now.

KION: And if you aren’t willing to share like last time and many other times before that, you are not welcome here.

JANJA: Oh this ain't about turf, Jasiri and Kion. I told ya this wasn't over. Get them. (GROWLS)

(Cubs Screaming)

WEMA and TUNU: Jasiri!

[Cheezi and Chungu chase Wema and Tunu]

CHEEZI: Slow down, kids!

JASIRI: No! Leave them alone! They're only cubs! [Jasiri fights the hyenas while Kion fights Janja]

KION: Why don’t you pick on someone your own size.

(All Growling)

(Grunts)

(Panting)

CHEEZI & CHUNGU: (Laughing Hysterically)

JASIRI: No! (Grunts)

[Jasiri and Kion push Cheezi and Chungu out of the way and Janja pushes the cubs in the vent.]

JASIRI & WEMA & TUNU: (Screams)

[Kion is not screaming]

MADOA: [watches from a distances] (Gasps) No!

JANJA: (Laughing)

JASIRI: (Grunts) I'll get you for this, Janja!

JANJA: You ain't gonna get nobody, Jasiri. You and Kion are stuck down there. Gather 'round, boys! What do you say we stick around and see what happens next? Should be very entertaining.

KION: [feeling the Great Lions of the Past speaking to him through a gesture of wind that blows against him for a second] I wouldn’t be so sure, Janja.

[Everything else that follows is still the same until the scene where Kion, Jasiri, Wema, and Tunu are still in the vent.]

(Steam Hissing)

[Jasiri covers the hyena cubs]

TUNU: What was that?

JASIRI: A little steam, that's all. Nothing to worry about.

WEMA: I'm not worried, as long as we're with you.

TUNU: And you, Kion.

KION: Asante, Tunu.

JANJA: You see that? The steam down there means the vent's gonna blow. Then, bye-bye, Jasiri and Kion.

HYENAS: (All laughing)

[The Lion Guard is running in the Outlands]

FULI: How are we doing, Ono?

ONO: We're getting close. The vent's just past that ravine.

FULI: Great. Lead the way.

THURSTON: Yes, lead the way.

[Everyone stops running]

FULI: Seriously?

BUNGA: What are you doing here?

THURSTON: What am I doing here? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be off on your rescue mission instead of here in the Pride Lands?

(Bird Squawking)

BUNGA: Say what?

ONO: Hapana. Everyone, everyone! Jasiri and Kion are in the vent. It's gonna blow!

FULI: We gotta move. Right now.

THURSTON: Wait for me. I've never seen a vent blow. What's a vent?

JANJA: How ya feelin' down there, Jasiri and Kion? Hot enough for ya? Well, fur brains, guess one of my plans is finally gonna work.

KION: [hearing the Lion Guard] Guess again, Janja.

JANJA: [seeing Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, and Ono] Oh, come on. Not you guys.

WEMA: Who's up there, Jasiri and Kion?

JASIRI: The Lion Guard.

KION: It seems that help has arrived.

JANJA: You know what, Lion Guard? It don't matter. I got all my guys with me today. Even the smart ones.

CHUNGU: He means us, right?

CHEEZI: Uh-huh.

[The hyenas surround the Lion Guard]

JASIRI: [having an idea in mind] Kion, get on my back.

KION: Why?

JASIRI: You’ll see. But be careful with your claws, no matter what.

KION: Asante, Jasiri. I will.

[With that, Kion jumps on Jasiri’s back at which point Jasiri kicks Kion in mid air straight out of the vent without Janja and his Hyena clan even paying attention as they are fixated on the Lion Guard]

JANJA: There's no way you're savin' Jasiri and the cubs.

KION: Oh, yeah? Watch us.

JANJA: [caught off guard at seeing Kion out of the vent] Oh, great.

[Janja and Kion start fighting]

KION & JANJA:

(Both Grunting)

KION: I'm coming, Jasiri.

JANJA: [Janja pins Kion] Oh, no, you ain't.

[A hyena faces off agaisnt Fuli]

FULI: You really want to take me on? Huwezi. [Fuli circles around the hyena and makes them dizzy] Ha!

HYENA: (Whimpering)

BUNGA: [Bunga jumps onto a hyena] Zuka Zama! (Chuckles) That was fun.

THURSTON: (Panting) Am I late? Did I miss the vent?

[Cheezi and Chungu sneak behind Thurston]

CHEEZI: (Laughs) No, you're right on time, zebra.

THURSTON: Hyenas. (Stammers) What are you doing in the Pride Lands?

CHUNGU: Wait. We're in the Pride Lands?

CHEEZI: (Laughs) It looks so much like the Outlands.

THURSTON: I know, right?

CHEEZI: (Laughs) Before we eat ya, you gotta answer one question.

THURSTON: Okay, that seems fair.

CHUNGU: How do we get back to the Outlands?

THURSTON: You've come to the right place. Zebras have the best sense of direction in the Pride Lands.

[Kion and Janja are still fighting]

JANJA: All right, Kion. Now you're getting me really steamed. [Janja's tail catches on fire] (Screams)

KION: [Kion looks down Jasiri's vent] Jasiri? Are you okay?

JASIRI: Oh, we're fine. Would love a little help, though.

KION: You've got it.

[Everyone circles around the vent]

KION: We have to do something. The lava's rising fast.

BUNGU: Easy. Roar into the vent and blow the lava away.

FULI: And blow Jasiri and the cubs away, too?

BUNGU: Ooh. Okay. Maybe something else then.

ONO: Hapana. Kion, look out.

HYENA: (Growls)

[A hyena tries to attack Kion but Beshte pushes him out of the way]

KION: Beshte, I have an idea.

JANJA: We ain't done with you yet, Lion Guard.

KION: You'll wish you were, Janja. Beshte, you know what to do.Now!

LION GUARD: (All yelling)

[The Lion Guard but Beshte go after the hyenas]

[Beshte pushes a rock down to the ground]

(Rocks Clattering)

BESHTE: Incoming rock. Look out for the splash.

JASIRI: Uh, okay.

[Jasiri covers the hyenas]

BESHTE: Twende Kiboko.

[Beshte pushes the rock into the vent]

(Sizzles)

(Volcano Rumbling)

JASIRI: Brilliant. Wema, Tunu. When I say "Go", we're going to jump.

(Lava Bubbling)

JASIRI: Go!

[Jasiri and the cubs hop onto the rock]

[Kion is fighting a hyena]

KION: (Growls)

HYENA: (Snarls)

[Ono goes after two hyenas and Fuli kicks Janja]

KION: You're all alone, Janja. You lose.

[The hyenas leave]

JANJA: Huh? So? I don't see Jasiri nowhere. And that means I win.

JASIRI: Look again, Janja. You really want to fight all of us by yourself?

KION: All of us.

JANJA: Fine. But this ain't over, Jasiri and Kion.

[Janja leaves]

CHUNGU: Hey, Janja. We headin' back to the Outlands now?

JANJA: What?

CHEEZI: Don't worry. We know how to get there. The zebra told us the way.

CHUNGU: Ooh. The zebra. We forgot to eat him.

CHEEZI: We can do it next time.

CHUNGU: See ya, zebra. If you're ever in the Outlands, come visit for dinner.

THURSTON: How lovely. I will. Ta-ta.
