(Peter Quill and Gamora have an emotional reunion at the Iron Lotus on Contraxia)

The partying and drinking comes to a sudden stop when Gamora steps into the view of everyone present at the Iron Lotus. All of the Ravagers clans and the locals of the Iron Lotus look at Gamora with a combination of shock 😳😮😯, disbelief 🫢, and a slight bit of fear 😧😨😰 as Peter Quill has already told them about her while many of them already know about her through her reputation as the most dangerous woman in the Galaxy. But then their fear changes to relief 🥲😮‍💨😅 when they realize that Gamora has not come to hurt them. But their shock and disbelief remains as they watch Gamora approach Peter Quill who despite being really drunk is so very frozen with shock 😳😮😯 and starts to feel really emotional and breathes very heavily while his heart beats at a medium rate. While the shock of seeing Gamora alive and well has broken Peter Quill out of his drunkenness, the so much amount of time he has spent drinking and getting drunk has made Peter Quill feel as if he was hallucinating at certain times when he’s drunk.

PETER QUILL (as he slowly approaches Gamora while frozen with shock): Are you for real 😧😮😳?

This is because Peter Quill wanted to make sure that he was not dreaming as he did not want to experience any more of the pain that he had already been through.

GAMORA (knowing what will show Peter Quill that he’s not dreaming and that she’s the only one who would say what she sometimes says to Peter Quill): Peter, take my hand.

Slowly and without hesitation, Peter Quill takes Gamora’s hand who then suddenly grasps both of Peter Quill’s hands with both of hers. Peter Quill then realizes from this gesture that he is absolutely not dreaming. Overcome with emotion, Gamora quickly closes the distance between herself and she and Peter Quill pull each other into their most tightest hug as Peter Quill buries his head in Gamora’s shoulder and bawls 😭 on it.

PETER QUILL (as he is crying emotionally 🥲 🥹😢😭): I’ve really missed you, Gamora. I can’t believe I got you back.

GAMORA: I’ve really missed you too, Quill.

Everyone else present is cheering Peter Quill and Gamora on as they have finally reunited with each other. This is the moment that Peter Quill has been waiting for and dreaming of where he would finally get to reunite with the woman he loves.
