(Gamora comforts Peter Quill)

Gamora is very astonished at everything that Peter Quill explained and laid out in detail in front of her. In Gamora’s mind, it all makes sense now, why Peter Quill has been getting drunk and fat lately, and why he was not being himself as well as not being the Leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy he is supposed to be. Because the pain of her death was too much for him to bear and he felt that his state of sadness would only become a major distraction and not allow to focus enough to carry on being the Leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Feeling empathy for what Peter Quill has been going through and very concerned for his well being, Gamora closes the distance between herself and Peter Quill and pulls him into a very tight hug which Peter Quill returns as he buries his head in Gamora’s shoulder and cries very severely with emotional😭🥲🥹 tears.

GAMORA (whispering comfort to Peter Quill as she rubs his back): It’s okay, Peter. I’m here.

Gamora gets really affectionate with Peter Quill in other ways to calm him down and wash away his pain.

GAMORA (seeing the pain gone from Peter Quill when they break apart while still holding each other’s hands): We have another chance to be together again. And we have so many adventures together to look forward to. All of us.

PETER QUILL (being very loving and feeling very happy that he has Gamora back in his life and that he has her love and support and comfort): I love you so much.

GAMORA: I love you too, Peter.
