What if the other half survives the Snap in Avengers: Infinity War/Avengers: Endgame(Gamora (original self) saves Peter Quill from getting
too drunk and they have an emotional reunion)
And then, deciding that she can’t bear seeing Peter Quill like that as it just isn’t him, the first thing she decides to do is get Peter Quill’s attention but without worsening the effects of Peter Quill’s consumption of having just drunk Wine. Gamora gets Peter Quill’s attention by walking up to him and grabbing him by the wrist just as he is about to take a drink out of the bottle of Wine he has in his hand thereby rendering his wrist immobile.
GAMORA: Drink that and the only thing you’re gonna feel is a broken jaw.
(The beyond belief shock of seeing Gamora alive and well breaks Peter Quill out of his drunkenness)
PETER QUILL: (with his lips trembling) Gamora…
GAMORA: (as she removes the bottle of Wine from Peter Quill’s hand and replacing it with grasping both of Peter Quill’s hands with both of her hands) Peter…
(Without waiting a second and in a moment of overwhelming joy, Gamora closes the distance between herself and Peter Quill and pulls him into a very tight tight hug which Peter Quill returns as he buries his head in Gamora’s shoulder and cries which Gamora allows)
PETER QUILL: (while crying with his head buried in Gamora’s shoulder) I’ve really missed you, Gamora.
GAMORA: (as she rubs Peter Quill’s back) I’ve really missed you too, Peter. I’m so very happy we’re finally together.
PETER QUILL: (feeling relaxed and filled with joy) I can’t believe I got you back.
(Peter Quill and Gamora stay like that for a few minutes)
