What if Simba and Nala befriend Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and their Hyena clan

(Welcome to the Hakuna Matata Jungle)

Simba, Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and their Hyena clan, Timon, Pumbaa, Sarabi, Sarafina, Nala, Zira, the rest of the Pride, Zazu, Shere Khan, Bagheera, Baloo, Pua and his Crocodile float, the Eagles, the Zebra herd led by the future parents of Muhimu, the Cheetah couple (who are the future parents of Fuli), Basi (who is young at this point) and his Hippo pod, Kubariki and Mlinzi and their Hyena clan, and Rafiki have reached the Hakuna Matata Jungle but by taking a shortcut as some of them have shown they’re not very comfortable with taking the long way due to some of their limitations and because the Eagles have pointed out that the shortcut will make more sense less some of them would collapse along the way were they to take the long way.

Upon reaching the borders of the Hakuna Matata Jungle, they are all greeted by the Jungle Pride led by king Suko and queen Kalima, who has a sister named Rhea who has a daughter named Mara. As it turns out, the Pride Landers and the Jungle Pride have been allies since the time of Simba’s great grandfather Mohatu.

SARABI: Greetings, King Suko, Queen Kamila, Princess Rhea, and Princess Mara.

KALIMA: Greetings to you too, Queen Sarabi.

RHEA: It’s very great to see you again.

MARA: Same as well.

SUKO: What brings you and your family and friends here to the Jungle, Queen Sarabi?

SARABI: It’s a long story, but to condense it, my family and friends and many of my subjects here have had to leave the Pride Lands for our own safety.

TIMON: And to make matters worse, upon after having killed King Mufasa, Scar took over the Pride Lands with help from his loyalists.

ZIRA: They’ve also been manipulating it to where they’ve made each other believe Simba here to be responsible for King Mufasa’s death when it was actually Scar.

BANZAI: Big time in ways you could never have imagined.

SHENZI: You said it.

SUKO: (feeling compassionate) I’m very sorry to hear that.

KALIMA: Welcome to the Hakuna Matata Jungle.

RHEA: You guys are welcome here since it’s clear you guys respect the Circle of Life.

MARA: (starting to grow really fond of Simba as much as her mother and aunt and uncle are) I will say, it’s about time. I can really have some more friends here.

SUKO: Come. We’ll show you guys to our home.
