Jessica sat back in her chair, enjoying her drink, as she put her feet up and relaxed. She couldn't shake the feeling she was forgetting something. "It's probably nothing important if I forgot it" Jessica thought to herself. A bit of cotton from her sock was stuck to her toes. Within the threads was an entire multiverse that Jessica was supposed to be protecting. It was hard to keep track of since it was so tiny, and it wasn't a big deal if it went missing, so it escaped Jessica's mind. It would eventually come loose from the sock threads and land on the surface of Jessica's toe, where it would remain permanently. It would be protected there, so in the end Jessica ended up actually being successful
