Commissioned work for gabrielsangel .
She asked for our character Safi being read a bedtime story by her adoptive father, Albert. Everything else was left up to my imagination.
I tried to create a warm atmosphere, with a little sense of magic-
I mean science. Of course!
The child being infected with the same virus he carries, Wesker is able to hypnotize her on some level into 'seeing' the story come to life before her eyes as he reads it. This is similar to Las Plagas in which a master takes control of a subordinate, while not going to far as to remove her free will. Safi is completely unaware and to her, this is no more than a magic trick.

I love the dark colours here, really adds alot to the piece I think! Definite creates the warm atmosphere you mention! It is very interesing seeing Wesker in such a situation! Very nice work

This has to be one of the most CUTEST THINGS THAT YOU HAVE EVER DRAWN! Seriously, if you added the Tricell dragon, I might die from cuteness! This picture is friggen adorable! First of all, the lighting is so soft and warm, detail in the chair is wonderful, and I love the claws on the chair! Secondly, Wesker’s outfit, PERFECT! It looks great! In the lighting and fits him perfectly! AND SAFI AND WESKER HAVE THE SAME HAIR!!! He looks like he is REALLY interested in telling the story.. and you can tell how gentle he is with her! And she is so into the story and her…. Her soon to be papa….

YOU ARE SOOO FRIGGEN OUTSTANDING! Seriously, it's wonderful! I'm so tempted to comission you for a comic version of the wedding tasting story! Or a few sketches of Wesker and Safi trying everything!
P.S. I tried oysters for the first time last week. They were... actually, they were nice. Not my fave food, but interesting.
