Description
Here we have Annette Birkin; fourth in my series of art featuring the Resident Evil antagonists. I based her look more on how she appeared in The Darkside Chronicles, but I tried to bring out her original personality from RE2 as well. The paranoid, dedicated Umbrella researcher who would do anything to protect her husband's work.. a loving wife and mother, but a 'villain' all the same.

I love Annette, such a rarely drawn character but she's tragic and deep and twisted all at the same time and one of the series' few sympathetic, three dimensional baddies. Great rendition of her and you rock for tackling her and doing such a classy job!

Annette's very dear to me as well; she and her family have such a unique and intricate place in the Resident Evil story, and when it comes to her specifically, she's that piece of the puzzle that really balances everything out.

Resident Evil 2 is definitely in my top five of best games ever, and I think it's because of how clever and well put together it's storyline is. In a lot of games people like Annette, Ada and William and the like would have been cardboard cut outs, but Resi 2 gives most of it's cast a good bit of dialogue and solid characterisation and I think that's why even though it's been so long it's still one of the most memorable games I've played.
You've done her fantastic justice, and now I've watched you I can't wait to see what else you come up with

I'm running out of words to discribe the perfection of these pieces. (THE COLORING ON HER PANTS IS INCREDIBLE HOW THE *&#%(!^@# DID YOU DO THAT!!!!), but I love the simplicity of this one. The colors really make it pop and the detail work, as always, BLOWS MY MIND! I love the display of Annette here as she is one of the RE Villains that I am always on the par about putting her in the "Villain" category. Yeah, she's made some terrible mistakes, but her love of Sherry never faltered. She's strong, intelligent and is willing to admit to her mistakes, something most of these villains (will perhaps the exception of Krauser and Wesker), are not willing to do. (And even with Wesker its admitting a calculation, not something horrible that he did.) I AM LOVING THESE And I can not wait to see who comes up next!!

I love Annette, she's such a down to earth 'villain', and the kind of character who can really balance out the more over the top/dramatic bad guys ( as much as I adore them ).
