War Marie stumbles home after a long and introspective time at the bar. She doesn't know how she'll get home, least of all through the alleys and back streets of a city that once held promise to her. But she'll find her way. She always does. At a time like this, all she can think of is the drive to get home, and a need to just...make the pain stop. No matter what.

WELL in my defence, it's hard to read. You don't put proper spaces between dialogue and text, you have no real paragraphs.
For example, normally it's;

Text
Whereas with you it's
"A"
"B"
Text
And when there's a lot of text, it turns into the dreaded Wall of Text; really hard to read.
