The Dark Aether is...vast. Full of unusual items and locations. It is the graveyard of history. The...rubbish dump, of time. When the universe is through with you, this is your final stop. A howling void full of dragons and robots, zombified humans and unfortunate souls struggling to get by. And wherever they roam, I reside. Today, I decided to explore outside of what some would call my comfort zone. Deep within the endless oceans, lies a small island. I am unsure of its former use, though it holds plenty of warehouses and offices. Now it is frozen, in temperature and in time, thick sheets of snow covering all. It is remote, empty, quiet. A perfect place to sit and ruminate.

I am...troubled, by current developments. Between the rise of this...Eternal Empire, and the unforeseeable consequences of the actions of the human. Amber...am I losing control of my own family? More and more seem to act against my wishes. Striking out, to conquer. To control. To wrest identity away from me. I still have many loyal types; the blue-haired one with the golden arm, my Acolyte...and, the Outlanders. Travellers. As I used to be. Perhaps they shall be the key to regaining control over my people. I do not wish to...fade, away. Not again.

I...lost my sister.

I lost my friends. My very existence.

There is nothing left for me, but my family.

And I will cease to exist entirely before they too are ripped away from me.
