My newest submission to the ever-popular Plushie Madness subgallery! I'll probably edit the Artist's Comments later and add more lulz...

Data "stands" approximately 15" tall. Spot stands approximately 3 inches tall.
Materials used for Data: Red Heart SuperSaver in off-white and black; Caron Simply Soft in sunshine, chocolate, and black; Tulip fabric paint in iridescent gold and silver; gold 3/4" buttons, lots of hair spray
Materials used for Spot: Caron Simply Soft in mango; two black 3/8" buttons; Tulip fabric paint in shiny pink, black ribbon, gold bell
I give full permission for and to post this in their club gallery if they so choose.

When I saw this, I honestly sat in my chair for a good five minutes, simply staring, before letting loose a squeal of happiness.
Data is one of my favorite TV characters of all time, and the fact that you worked so hard to make this just made my day!
And the little Spot just makes it even cuter.

This is both cute and very detailed! Adding Spot to the plushie is a very nice extra touch. Hope to see more pieces of work like this one in the near future, thank you for sharing it with us! (Although I understand if you don't want to share the real plushie with us)

The plushies are very well made, how long did it take you to produce them? And it's always nice to see art in other forms - your plushie style of art is very unique and that gives it extra beauty.

All the plushies were produced in about 7-10 days, depending in general on the complexity of the character's hairstyle and clothing. The one exception is this [link] who took three days but then again I was severely ill with nothing to do
Amigurumi isn't that unique, dA recently gave it its own category

Ah cool, well the tim you spent on them definitely paid off. I'm fairly new to dA so I haven't seen much Amigurumi on here. It was exciting to see your amigurumi and the detail is incredible. It was good to see a different form of artwork, but more importantly, a very good piece of artwork.

You shouldn't consider yourself barely mediocre. There are many incredibly talented artists on this site, but that doesn't mean you're not one of them. Your work is incredible. The fact that your work is your own gives it individuality and beauty that no other piece of work could give you. You should be very proud of it. YOU made it and everyone who comments on your work is admiring YOU and no one else at that moment.
