"20 years from now [Robert Pattinson will] play the lead in Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company and someone will come up to him and say 'zomfg Edward Cullen!'" -- The Master PlannerMore stampage!
Twilight...it's either something you love to love or love to hate. Naturally, I'm one of the latter.
Also I just love the blankstare.

They don't mostly. Only the Cullens and Volturi do that. Seriously, though, why do people make such a big deal about this? So, they sparkle in sunlight instead of turning into ash. At least they're not out for your blood because they try to above that, in spite of how hard it is.

It's just silly for vampires to sparkle, thatβs all. Vampires should prey upon humans, in my personal opinion.

Trust me. I think the sparkling is silly, too. As for preying upon humans, while it is in a vampire's nature to do so, doesn't necessarily make it right. Except if the human or humans in question deserve to feasted upon, then we can let the vampires do as they please.
Also, you're welcome.

There are many reasons why Twilight is a blight upon literature, and really the sparkling is the very least of it, but honestly those discussions can be easily found elsewhere.

I've seen Twilight being compared to Harry Potter too many times with Harry Potter being proven superior most of the time. I acknowledge that Twilight is far from perfect. Mind you, I've never actually read the books or seen the films. My experience with Twilight has mainly been fanfiction and the wiki. I admit that I was bored when I got into it, not that I regret it, of course. We're all entitled to our opinion though.

That's nice to hear, even though the Twilight franchise is over (we hope!)

That was basically what I said when I first heard about the sparkly vampires.
What's next, polka-dotted mummies?
