Narrator: "By the time that the viking guys arrived at the steaming pool, the sun had already set. A full moon was rising on the horizon, coloring everything in a silvery blue glow."

Snotlout: "Ahhhh, this is so relaxing!"

Hiccup: "It does feel good after that long walk."

Fishlegs: "You know, Hiccup, I could've carried you on my shoulders part of the way to give your leg a rest."

Hiccup (touched): "Thanks buddy, but I have to get used to going long distances on this leg. But I'll keep your offer in mind on the way back. Okay?"

Tuffnut (dramatic and loud): "The spoils of victory, boys! The spoils of victory!"

Snotlout: "I'd love to see the girls' faces right now! They're probably pouting--"

Tuffnut: "Or yelling!"

Snotlout: "Or smashing something!"

Tuffnut: "Or----"

Tuffnut and Snotlout: "Crying! Waaaaahhhhh!!!"

Hiccup (irritated and changing the subject): "Fishlegs, why don't you tell us a story."

Fishlegs: "I----no, I couldn't possibly----"

Tuffnut: "Yeah, go ahead! Entertain us like a bard!"

Snotlout: "But don't sing!"

Fishlegs: "Well, since you asked.....you know, I've heard a lot of stories about these woods and this hot spring."

Hiccup: "Really? Like what?"

Fishlegs: "They're haunted."

Narrator: "As if on cue, a chilling breeze meanders through the leaves and fills the forest with a thousand eerie sounds."

Tuffnut: "Haunted?"

Fishlegs (nodding): "Haunted."

Snotlout (biting his lip): "Why didn't you tell us this before we hiked all the way here?"

Fishlegs: "Well, you wanted to hear a story, and it's probably just that---- but-----"

Hiccup, Tuffnut, Snotlout: "Yes?"

Fishlegs: "I've heard that our village elders never visit here because of----"

Hiccup, Tuffnut, Snotlout: "What?"

Fishlegs: "Because of the demon that lives in a cave near here!"

Narrator: "Immediately, Snotlout, Tuffnut, and Hiccup sit up at attention and start eyeing the shadowy woods surrounding them. There was indeed a cave entrance, like a dark mouth gaping open, not too far from where they were lounging."

Fishlegs: "Sometimes it gets so hungry, especially on a night like tonight, that it comes out and hunts its prey."

Hiccup (nervously laughing): "Ha-ha-ha...good one Fishlegs. You're making this up for us --- right?"

Fishlegs: "Then there's the story of Ospak the Beastly....."
