Description
Setting: Class pictures for the somewhat unwilling viking teensPhotographer: "Okay kid, smile!"
Tuffnut (pouting): "I'm not a kid, and I'm not smiling! I didn't want to be the first person, and I don't like the way you smell!"
Photographer: "Look, this will be the picture of you that EVERYONE sees in the book. So do yourself a favor and smile."
Tuffnut (intensely): "Warriors do NOT smile; we glare."
Photographer (takes picture): "Fine, kid, you're done. NEXT!"

Oh! I loved the Calvin and Hobbes comics! It's been so long since I've seen one. My sister and I used to get a big book of the comics for Christmas for several years, and we used to look through them over and over, laughing at the silliness!
Calvin's class picture! I'll have to try to find it on the web to refresh my memory.

Wow. That sounds like us kids. We go hysterical over them. They're so funny. One of my favs is where Calvin's pretending to be a dragon, and then his mum asks if he brushed his teeth and he pulls a PURELY evil look and says: 'come and see'

I remember one where Calvin was like a T-Rex chasing after kids on the play ground!
