Hey look a new series!

Story: Contessa didn't expect when going through the ranks she would have to face a heavy handed Opera Singer. Odiva proved to be a worthy opponent early on. Despite not having much speed she made up for it in power and was catching Contessa with some flush shots. Contessa tried to regain control with her piercing left jab, but would always fall short. She couldn't figure out how someone so fat was keeping up with her.

This drop of focus left her open to a right hook to the jaw that catches her right on the button. The crowd starts to cheer louder as Contessa is stun by the powerful blow from Odiva. This will be a tough fight for the Spider Queen. Her opponent has proven within the first minute to be a capable fighter.

Anyone remember Black & Bruised besides me? I still own my copy for the PS2. I love the game so much I unlocked pretty much everything and beat all of the Boxer's stories. You guys should play it as it is one of the few boxing games to have a variety of female boxers to choose from. It's not Ready 2 Rumble, but it's pretty fun time. Some of my favorite characters were Maiagaru and Ally Gator.

Now why did I pick Odiva of all people? Well, I wanted someone that was more of Contessa's size so it would be best to use someone like this instead of 98lbs Jumping Janet. I also found Odiva to be a likely character. There is a lot of female characters her size in fighting games. The only one I can think of is Mama tutu from Ready 2 Rumble.

Fun fact: The developer of this game, Digital Fiction, would go on to make the Rocky Balboa boxing game on PSP.
