Bellsprout Tower actually gave you trouble? I thought Bellsprout Tower was insanely easy personally. Weak Pokemon, easy trainers... the layout took a bit of time to get used to but once you figured it out, it was a piece of cake.
At least compared to... say Whitney and her Rollout-happy Miltank.
She is THE hardest gym leader I've ever faced.

Everyone's save files were eventually corrupted unless you have Crystal version.
It still doesn't make Bellsprout Tower that much harder because everyone's still fairly low-leveled.

well in my pokemon black you know how you can pick which pokemon you want to find and then pick what your willing to trade for you can do that same thing with searching for pokemon which is great
