About: This Took Me Quite Some Time To Create. Due To The Fact That I Had To Watch That One 30 Second Segment In 'The Matrix' To Model The Pod Itself.. Then I Went Into Bryce And Textured And Rendered It Untill I Got The Three Views Looking Right.. Then I Went Into PS(Which Is Still Fairly New To Me) And Did Some Airbrushing(Which Is Completely New To Me) And Messed Around With Masks And Other Fun PS Stuff.. And After A Day Or Two I Think I'm Done.

I'm moveing this in the merlin 3D contest cause it's sci-fi and i didnt want to resubmit it..

this is v. cool! i love the colour of the "pods"...kinda freaky concept...like the matrix stuff?!....
one change though...fade the pod in the top left like the one underneath it!

Textures are amazing, especially that frosted look on the pods.. And the metal is sooo organic-like.... Well, if airbrushing was new to you, i think yer a pretty fast learner!!!

while I think you did a fantastic job on the rendering... you don't really have a context for these pods to be in they just seem like they are floating around... It's a few steps from fantastic but I think with some more dedication you could turn this into an amazing piece.

the center top/center area looks rather empty..
i also think you should work on smoothing out the edges of the rightmost pod's sort of tube connector things.. they look like bad blue screening
also, you gotta stop using that damn frost/ice/rigid texture ..yea, that's right, i can see it on the tubes
