Description
I tried to image how would a landscape look like, when a radioactive fuel would leak from a crashed spaceship into a surroundig environment. I was going for a mutated look of a tree, but then I got a suggestion I should look up infrared tree photos and there you have it

It's an amazing painting, of awesome quality, of course, as many ones here on deviantart. But this one here is waking up deep emotions inside of the observer (or at least in me ^^)
It's making me sentimental and romantic, just from staring at it for 5 minutes now...

As a biologist, I often wondered how something like a massive, non-toxic, and colored water contamination would effect the aesthetics of local flora and fauna, especially if said flora and fauna were white and easily effected by color change. This plays with that concept and executes it beautifully. It's like the "blood" of the ship is now the blood of the trees. Manmade becomes one with nature again in such an elegant manner. I love this on so many levels!

that looks plain awesome. Everything is just so beautifully detailed from the cliff on the left to the big leaves nothing feels rushed. And that "blood"...well i dont really like how its flowing out of the ship but i cant deny that the lake looks gorgeous. Great work man.
