Description
Copper is a recently commissioned character I had been working on. She's a ranger and goes around with her companion Grass, a giant badger. I know she looks similar with another ranger character in my gallery but its just a funny coincidence, I just followed along the client descriptions on what she wanted. Brilliant. I will say that one thing to keep in mind is where people are being made to look or think is important to look. As both characters are looking to the left essentially the viewer wants to see what they are looking at. In the future you could try having her further to the right and the badger maybe looking back at her so that both characters are essentially looking towards the center of the page. You would then also have room to show what's in her focus even if it were just a horizon. Just my thoughts. Nice illustration though!

Thank you for the input, I'll surely keep it in mind. The thing is I can't always do what I want with an illustration as the client has his own vision of what he wants. In this case, the character and her pet were more important than the thing they spotted.
