Description
This is a character portrait I've recently done for StravenLite, an illustration of one of the main characters of her stories. It was a bit of a challenge fitting all those colors in one imagine without loosing the focus on the character but I think I pulled it with honors (in no false modesty). Enjoy!Related content

It's fun to finally see Taps in a more realistic style. I love how you've done her clothes and Tapper.
The bench and the statue are "top notch" as Taps would say. And of course the Tava tree, you pulled it off very well. 
Bright colors are big in this magical world and they make everything all the more cheerful to me. So, thanks for doing that.
Taps is enjoying her day and she's definitely earned a break from her Realm Keeper duties.

Β I am so happy that you did one of my favorite characters ever! Taps is such a big favorite of mine! ^^ I really really had high expectations on you pulling off this amazing wonderful character and you did her justice! You truly made Taps, not a woman trying to look like Taps but its really Taps. She is as beautiful and as perfect as I knew she'd be, her outfit, her Tapper, her gorgeous hair and oh she is so pretty! Her smile and eyes are just perfect and so as I imagined her.
I can't tell you how happy I am to see this deviation and Taps in such an beautiful style and perspective. You did an fanastic job!

I have to confess that the tava tree is always the hardest thing to put in the scene because its so colorful it steals the attention entirely.

Believe it or not, the tava tree is the hardest thing to do in this images. It has so many colors its always a challenge on picking the right shades as not to clash too hard with everything else in the image.
