Description
The water was revitalizing, cool on his rough skin. He'd never noticed its effect before. Previously his mind had always travelled the well worn road of war and violence but now a more settled feeling pervaded, clearing the black smoke and stifling the raging fire. How many had died on this blade? How many more? He'd never cared before... what is this? What is this feeling...Related content

looks like the oasis near wailing caverns in durotar... imma wow nerd btw and have a special place in my heart for orcs. (and orc ladys) im amazed at the talent you posses as i can barely sketch out a hand, thats why i admire other ppls art as i have no talent of my own XD (except tanking with mah orc warrior shaggrath)

Oh my! This guy looks ominous! I like the balance of your composition. There is a good sense of space and atmosphere in this, along with a serene mood. You did a really good job of capturing countenance of his face. You have a beautiful range of values here with plenty of contrast. It's a sterling piece of work!

Excellent drawing and the story behind it really helps to bring it alive. I really like the detail you put into everything; from the waters movement around objects to the different grades of shadow, and the texture in the napsack.

Though I'm not so good with backgrounds I take the same pride in my work, so I especially enjoy seeing a fellow artist do the same. Great work and I look forward to seeing more of your art.

Your pencil work is absolutely amazing! I very much like the concept behind this as well. The pic with the description give this a sense of a past and a future adding real depth to the character.

A great idea, I love his face expression
There seems to be a whole story behind this picture, and also the idyllic background has a lot to tell.
I've never seen a picture that shows an orc from that side.
Do you know "the Thinker" by Auguste Rodin? I just spontaneously associated it with your drawing...

Hey, it's good to see the story added to the drawing. He is certainly supposed to look like he is thinking hard about things...
