Description Mmm... my precious...

Made in BioShock 2 Multiplayer. 2K made that game but believe me, it's hard to play at it. Annoying people with grenade launchers destroys that game :/

Love the whole thing of having your own sphere and a nice shot from the game too mateusz812, good graphics and quality.

Still love the whole idea of having your multiplayer room, again nice shot mateusz812.

thank you so much, sir!

The sad thing is that I have really bad quality at single player :/ So I can make pictures only at multiplayer

Oh no problem and yeah a credit to you even being able to get a nice shot like this, damn wish some systems would have that Take A Photo option like the Little Big Planet game goes, bleh.

Protip: Posting screenshots of the game isn't art.

Oh and it could be construed as art theft.

But anyway.

LOL, Screencapping is an art now?

Because it's a screenshot of a 3D environment created by 2K, not you.

No, unfortunately not. :/ DA is for art you've made 100% by yourself. Posting images you found on the internet or even taken of video games (as here) can violate copyright laws. Not that I think 2K would care in this case, but it's an important consideration for the future.

Obviously it's not a very big deal, but if someone reports the images here using proof, they can be removed by staff. Don't be surprised if they do that sometime in the future.

I'm not going to report you because there is no way posting these images to your gallery is going to net you anything but shame and eyerolling. Anyone who has played the game knows what these are.

So, thinking like that's place art in 100% we can't place wallpapers made by elements from internet because we didn't make that.

For me, screenshots from games can be sometimes true art: good moment. Yes, I agree that some of that photos are worthless but some are not.

Exactly. All of the screenshot art you see posted really shouldn't be here. Even those "Inspirational Posters" with images off of Google? Shouldn't be here. Screencaps of television shows? Shouldn't be here. But sometimes they linger for YEARS because they are not reported. Rest assured that if someone did report this with sufficient proof it would be removed.

Yeah, game screenshots are art. They're just not your art. See the difference?

he just want to make ppl know something 'bout this game dude, calm down.
What screenshots are for then if you can't make ppl see them?

Maybe isn't a Picasso, but is something that he want to show, so why argue with that?

And the ppl that use the Garry mod to make image etc? Isn't that their art?

I am calm. I'm just letting him know. Besides, he's flooding the Bioshock fangroup with crap that took 0 talent and then -- in some previous cases -- he has the gall to claim responsibility for it. It's annoying and juvenile.

You have missed the entire point. Screenshots don't belong on DA proper -- scraps only. Some of us don't even think they should be on DA at all because (newsflash) they are not art. They are "pictures" of a game designer's art. It's like taking pictures of the Mona Lisa, close up, cropping out the frame, and saying, "Hey, look what I did!" See, I know this might come as a shock, but generally, when you submit something to DA, you are stating that you made it. Submitting something you haven't made -- a 3D environment, for example -- can be construed as art theft.

Of course it isn't a Picasso. It's not even on par with a classroom doodle. Print Screen requires absolutely no skill whatsoever. Go to Photobucket if you love crap like this. This is deviantART.

I suppose that Garry mod might be debatable in some cases. But I lean toward saying, "Sure, that's their art," especially if they made the models 100% themselves and not from copyrighted materials -- then it's just fanart and I'm cool with that. And in any case, it's not at all comparable to TAKING SCREENSHOTS from an actual game, which takes no skill whatsoever.

but sometimes only good watcher can catch it and show to others.

Moot point. Still not your art. DA is JUST for you to post YOUR art, the art you made 100% by yourself. That's all that matters here. It is against the TOS and if someone really wanted to get it removed, they could.

in that case I'll removed it to scraps I guess.

Actually, I think DA allows screenshots to be in scraps, so you'll probably be safe there.
