This is Mila from Dead or Alive 5. I've been needing to "brush" up on (... see what I did there?) my photoshop skills again. It's cool when new fighting games come out because there are usually hi res character renders in the promotional material-- although unfortunately there's only one per character. Mila has one (which isn't this one) that I've seen others use already, I thought it would be neat to use this picture of her instead. It's unfortunately lo-res but I did my best. I recoloured her a bit, cut her out, trimmed her a million billion times, recoloured some more, etc. Hopefully there will be some higher res source material soon!I also wanted a new background for my Apple Thunderbolt Display and I think Mila is super cool, so now I have this!
Since 1920x1080 doesn't cut it for my display, the full resolution of this is 2560x1440!

Mila belongs to Tecmo, not me. In my dreams though, she belongs to me. Haha, no really, I don't own rights to her.

Yeah, I think so too. I wish I was better at fighting games, I'm picking this game up slowly though.

they changed some moves around. I was better at doa4. I guess with some practice I will be ok.

Yeah, I can't tell but it seems like this one is a little less complex, but more refined or something. I'm not having an easy time picking it up, but I can at least learn the system. Most fighting game systems just kind of go over my head.

Usually I'm pretty good at fighters. you can button mash on doa and still win once in a while, but it's better to actually know what you're doing.
