1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9=45
4+5=9
9x2=18 1+8=9
9x3=27 2+7=9
9x4=36 3+6=9
etc....

another interesting thing about the nine multiplication table... 2 x 9 = 18 and 9 x 9 - 81 (18 reversed) 2 x 9 = 27 and 8 x 9 = 72 (27 reversed) 4 x 9 = 36 and 7 x 9 = 63, and 5 x 9 = 45 while 6 x 9 = 54 (45 reversed)
