Curufin and Celegorm.
Playing Shadow of Mordor on the PS4 —great graphics btw.— brought my love for Tolkien's First and Second Age characters back. Sadly I am no lover of the Third Age, much less the Fourth. (¬︵¬) I guess I just really don't like humans in fantasy.
But I digress.
I always loved Feanor and his family, and Celebrimbor is just awesome in the game! (＾▽＾)
The game inspired me to paint a couple of Feanor's sons, mainly the ones that are often disliked, Celegorm and Curufin. Ignoring their misdeeds, I greatly enjoy the close friendship these two have.
I will probably do more Feanor-related art for a short time, or at least as long as I will be playing Shadow of Mordor.

My favorite character is Eonwe, herald of Manwe. Look likes a little like archangel Michael, kind, intelligent and... I can continue all the day ^^ I would like to see him with your drawing

Amazing detail and "lighting"! I really like their nonchalant expressions.
I played Shadow of Mordor too and I also liked how they filled out Celebrimbor's story. About time someone did him justice!
I have always liked Turin from the First Age. Rash, proud, brave and undefeated as the ultimate warrior. His story should be made into a video game! Lol

I really love their expressions and the picture is beautiful overall. While these two have quite a character, they're also pretty shameless... I know Tolkien fans who actually prefer Caranthir to these two, since he does have a sense of honor despite his quick temper, and C&C seem to have it the least.
But really, I cannot really hate the house of Fëanor, not one of them. I just try to understand them - they're all very complex characters, and such they're great characters. But it's actually the house of Finarfin I'd prefer to be friends with. Hard not to like them.

I agree with you on the house of Feanor. I never could hate any of them. I always loved them all, though Curufin and Celegorm used to be my least loved, but I loved them still. Now, they are my most favorite of the bunch. I don't know why, but my view on the characters and their motivations changed.

I had no idea you liked The Silmarillion. If you were to paint more Silm elves, well... not that I'm not already in love, but. That would be it for me.
If you think about it, Curufin is actually one of the more tragic brothers, because he never made anything of himself despite having what I assume is great talent inherited from Feanor. What did he ever do that people remembered? At least Celebrimbor has the Rings on his resume. Not that I'd be too proud of that accomplishment, but er.
My favorites are Maglor and Maedhros - two others who are always mentioned together, and who seemed to be great friends.

Oh, I used to absolutely adore the Silmarillion (elves... always elves), back in 2000-2006, but then my like for it all faded. It recently came back, out of the blue, but now it's gone again. It's really an 'on and off relationship'. Lol. But I always only cared for the elves... and maybe Sauron and Melkor, but not much for the rest of the races, sadly.
I agree with you on Curufin. He IS one of the more tragic brothers, because he failed to be much of anything, kicked out from a city, humiliated, and he even lost his sons respect.
I absolutely love Maglor and Maedhros too. I hope to paint them one day as well, but I am not sure when my inspiration will come back.

Wow the detail is amazing! I Have read the sil twice so far, the first time about 10years ago and just recently this past fall/winter. My favorite characters in my first reading (i was about 14) were eol and little else. My second reading i came to love hurin as i subsequently read the children of Hurin. I also love finrod, and fingolfin. Of the sons of feanor i like maedhros and caranthir. I have a lot of favorites really....

I can't say I paint boyxboy. I paint MenxMen! A bit of a difference in my universe. Lol. Of course, I understand that not everything is everyone's cup of tea.
As to what program I use; Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.

No problem at all. My wacom is rather old. It's a Wacom Intuos3. I am planning on buying a new Intuos this year. I don't know the other tablets, but Wacom Intuos is really great! Try Wacom Bamboo though, for a first tablet. I heard great things about it too.
