Well, ive been practicing red foxes and i still have a long way to go till i can get them almost perfect. This is the only fox that ive done so far that i feel is actually PRESENTABLE!
I had been having trouble with my foxes looking like wolves, because i draw them so often! But with some helpful tips from i am slowly coming away from that problem! Please critique! I need as much help as i can! Thanks!(XD He has 2 lips!
Its coz it was a quick sketch and i did no erasing!)

Ahh, cool, thanks! And yes, i didnt add it, because it didnt look right the way it drew it, and being only a quick sketch, i wasnt looking for colours, more for anatomy.

This is really good. I love how you blend the colors. The nose seems to come off the snout a little though.

Hey, this looks better than most of the foxes I see on this site! Great job, I can really tell your anatomy studies are starting to pay off.
I think your muzzle/chin could stand to be just a tad slimmer, with the jaw moving at more of an upward angle instead of dipping down to connect to the chest. Foxes have very sleek features, so unless this individual is supposed to be super-poofy, it's best to keep it streamlined. Also, watch your lipline - you have it drawn ending at the back of the eye. A canine's lips, when closed, will generally extend to halfway through the eye, distance wise. When the mouth is open, the lips extend back to behind the eye. But yours should be shortened a little from as they are now.
The eye looks a little too big and rounded; when seen from a profile view, eyes tend to look very angular because of the lids. But, it's a minor thing. Also watch the thickness of your ears, make sure you slope the back in properly, it looks a tiny bit thick.
Overall though, very impressive. Can't wait to see more!

AWW! Thanks! Yer, im still coming away form my wolf problem, with the sudden change in anatomy and having to slim everything down, XD! The eyes drove me NUTS i couldnt gewt it right and my Photoshop keept encounting errors and shutting down!!! >< But thanks the the crit its gonna help HEAPS! heheh and it has 2 lips, coz it was a scetch that i likes and didnt erase the longest lip part, XD! So the shorter one was the one it was meat to be, but i aggree it needs to be shorter! And the ears, well, i dod anpother quick scketch but the lengh of the ears and angle and all, still looks like a wolf, so i need to study some moar. Im also gonna by this behavior and ecology book about foxes, a nice thick one with plenty of refs in it! I need to order it in though like i did with my Wolf behaviour and ecology book!
